Abby Rhoades is the owner and lead therapist at Massage Life LLC. She brings over two decades of hands-on experience in therapeutic massage, corrective therapy, and rehabilitation techniques.
Abby combines mind-body awareness with advanced manual therapy to create personalized treatment plans, because pain is never one-size-fits-all.
Primary Focus:

Pain doesn’t exist in isolation. It’s influenced by how you move, how you train, how you recover, and how your body compensates over time.
A holistic approach means looking at the whole system — muscles, joints, nervous system, movement patterns, and daily stress — not just the area that hurts.
My goal isn’t temporary relief. It’s restoring function so your body works more efficiently, so you can move with less discomfort and more confidence long-term.

In addition to massage therapy, I teach spin, yoga, Pilates, and barre. These disciplines give me insight into how people move, where they compensate, and how they build strength over time.
That understanding directly informs my bodywork. I don’t just release tension — I look at the movement patterns contributing to it and address the source.
Massage supports better movement. Better movement supports better recovery. Together, they build long-term performance, resilience, and a body that functions the way it should.

A deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It uses slower, more forceful strokes to target the underlying muscles and connective tissues.
A deep tissue massage can help relieve chronic pain, reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and increase mobility. It can also help break up scar tissue and adhesions, which can contribute to muscle tension and pain.
